Hey, my name is Ryan. I'm 26 and from the metro Detroit area. I love photography, hockey, cycling, going to concerts, and almost anything outdoors. Expect to see a lot of weird photos, because I'm weird. My camera is a Panasonic LX1, which I carry with me wherever I go. I like fast trucks.

The Syclone: Saudi #2792 : Here it is, 1991 GMC Syclone # 2792 out of 2995. I bought this truck from the original owner, Chuck K., on February 2nd, 2008. The pics below are from that day, shot in a large pole barn where the truck had sat since fall of 1998. At the time, the truck had 1,296 miles, making it one of the lower mileage syclones around . This particular truck was one of the 31 returned from Saudi Arabia in 1994 and sold in a lottery to GM employees. Rated (conservatively) at 280hp, the syclone will go 0-60 in about 4.6, and do the 1/4 mile in low 13s.

Little Critters : Okay, so the LX1 isn't exactly designed for macro work, but I think I've managed it okay. These were taken summer of aught 6 behind the shop where I worked. I don't like bees, so it was crazy that I got close enough and stayed still enough to get the shots. The picture of the fly on the bee's back is my favorite.
